In keeping with ho‘okipa, Old Lahaina Lu‘au presents guests with fresh flower lei as they step into a quaint village scene—the first local establishment to offer this service. Their nightly lu‘au begin with interactive games and demonstrations, such as imu unearthing, poi pounding, and kapa making.
Narrations take shape throughout the evening where guests learn about the island’s native heritage, including the reasoning behind local cuisine featured during pa?ina ahiahi. From laulau and pua'a kalua to poke ‘ahi and pipi ko‘ala, you can enjoy a wide range of dishes in the comfort of the hale ‘ai. Tropical drinks are also available at a premium open bar.
